Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money, and Eli Stone All Likely To Be Cancelled By ABC After This Season!

ABC has reportedly decided not to order back-nines for second-year dramas Dirty Sexy Money, Eli Stone and Pushing Daisies.

While The Hollywood Reporter first announced the likely conclusion of the three low-ish rated dramas, there was still some ambiguity as of Friday (Nov. 21) morning as to whether the shows were dead, or just on near-terminal life support.

Sources have confirmed that Pushing Daisies will almost certainly have resurrected its final corpse after it airs the 13th episode of its second season.

The critically adored Pushing Daisies had averaged just over 6.75 million viewers over its first five airings and delivered series low demo ratings this past week. Creator Bryan Fuller has told several media venues that the show has been cancelled.

People close to Dirty Sexy Money, though, say that the “c” word (that would be “cancellation”) isn’t official, though the show could probably use a miracle. The star-studded drama has averaged roughly 6.8 million viewers per episode.

Averaging just under 8.3 million viewers, Eli Stone is the most watched of the trio, though its ratings have been boosted by the greater straight for ABC’s Dancing with the Stars-aided Tuesday.

The network’s other sophomore drama, Private Practice, is expected to move to a Thursday night time slot in January, getting a boost from Grey’s Anatomy.
