In the latest Cynopsis newsletter is a report on schedule changes at The CW. No, nothing as drastic as cancellation, but Reaper does not look to be in a good time slot as the second season will air on Tuesdays at 8pm, starting March 3. Why is this bad? Well, there’s this show called American Idol that airs at the same time and I’m told that lots of people watch it. And there’s this other show that’s been getting some buzz lately called NCIS that’s in that slot as well. Then again, they did OK there pre-writer’s strike, so only time will tell, I guess.

So what of the previous resident of the timeslot, 90210? Well, the rookie drama is moving back one hour to 9pm, I suppose in to prevent it from being thoroughly crushed by the Idol machine. Good luck with that.
