New Season of The Bachelor To Premiere on January 4th

ABC says The Bachelor will begin its 14th cycle on Monday, Jan. 4, with a two-hour premiere. This season will also be the first broadcast in high definition.

The new edition is subtitled On the Wings of Love, which refers not to the Jeffrey Osborne song but to the fact that Bachelor Jake Pavelka — who was rejected on The Bachelorette last season — is a pilot.
