After such an amazing mid-season finale I have to say that I am disappointed with Wednesday’s new installment of the show.  John Cena did an ok job as Juliet’s soldier brother. He definitely has the body one would expect from an experience soldier. The story could have been better developed as it skipped around a [...]

The only word to describe this episode of Psych is awesome. There was not one second of the episode where my pulse was not rushing. Despite knowing that Shawn would not be killed I was still nervous every time the gun was pointed at him. Like always, Psych manages to insert some humor into even [...]

The fall finale of Psych for this season definitely left the fans with something they’ll remember and enjoy while waiting a few weeks for future episodes. “Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark” is packed with action, suspense and just enough tasteful moments of hilarity to be a worthwhile addition to the season.
To do a [...]

With Halloween fast-approaching what a perfect time for a werewolf themed Psych episode. The concept of a guy who thinks he’s a werewolf is not at all original, in fact just during the summer I watched a Mental episode with one and I’m sure Psych will not be the last time I see this used. [...]

This episode definitely had the best guest stars of the season. It was a decent episode altogether. Having yet another theme song was fantastic and  I particularly liked seeing a bit of Gus’ past rather than just Shawn’s all the time.
Flashback: 1989. Shawn is in a store with his father. He spots a computer and [...]

This season of Psych may set a record for number of guest stars and remixes of the theme song, arguably two of the things I look forward to in each episode. Sometimes these additions to the episodes help to spice things up and for the most part in the most recent episode, “Hip Hop Fade [...]

The Fall TV Season officially kicks off tonight, Monday, September 21, and that means all your favorite shows should be returning. If not, they will in January, unless they were canceled of course. But the new Fall season also means plenty of new shows that probably won’t last a season. With that in mind, a [...]

It’s nice to see them trying new things, like the special theme songs, but this episode just was not that good. It had a few laughable scenes but that was all. If I had to choose one thing good about this episode I would probably pick the Shawn-Abigail scenes. They are an adorable couple! I [...]

Perhaps it’s a little silly that I love the Psych theme song so much. Yet if I don’t hear it and the beginning of the episode something just feels incomplete. One of my favorite moments of the series came in the season two episode “Lights, Camera… Homicidio” where the theme song was replaced by a [...]

Never before has Psych actually made me yell at the TV. This yell was not because the episode was bad but because of the chance that McNab could be dead. My fear thankfully only lasted a few seconds as McNab is alive and well, despite a few missing things. Overall I thought it was a [...]

Psych has been away for two weeks but appears to be back in full form. The most recent episode, “Shawn Has the Yips” is a great example of what each episode should be. Whereas earlier episodes in the season seemed to be lacking the fun and orginality that made earlier season special the most recent [...]

I can never tell if it is a good sign when a show seems so self aware of itself and its fans. Psych loves to advertise the running pineapple joke which I think is fun for the type of viewer who watches each episode enough times where they can look for these details. Even the [...]

This episode returned to the feeling I think a Psych episode should emit. I love whenever Psych has a themed episode like this western one. Though they are a little far fetched for a crime solving show I think we can all agree thats what gives Psych it’s unique and fun personality.
Flashback: Henry is angry [...]

It took three episodes but I believe Psych is finally back to the perfect mix of humor, mystery, suspense and great acting that made the show a refreshing and amusing hour of t.v. This weeks episode, “High Noon-ish” was the first episode this season that brought back what I believe had been missing from the [...]

This episode was amusing and definitely quotable but I do not think that it was one of the best.
Flashback: Shawn pretends he is sick to get out of going over someone’s house but it is pretty obvious he is lying. After giving Shawn some tips on pretending that you’re sick and finding out that the [...]

When I initially heard the summary for this episode I had a major case of deja vu. A rich man is declared missing and both the Santa Barbara Police Department and the members of Psych race to find him first. Said missing person is found in a forest area dead or close enough. The rest [...]

After a long absence Psych has returned and definitely did not disappoint.
Flashback: Henry has just gotten off the phone with Shawn’s teacher and learned that Shawn did not turn in an assignment. Shawn of course has an excuse, his project was stolen. Shawn claims that only his painting was stolen because that’s the perfect crime. [...]

The show opens with a flashback to 1989. Henry tells Shawn that his teacher called to say that Shawn didn’t turn in his art assignment, and as a result, there will be a blank spot on the wall during open house. Shawn attests to having turned it in and proposes that it has been stolen. [...]

In the season four opener of USA’s Psych viewers will be happy to find that Shawn and Gus are still solving crimes with their own special breed of ‘psychic’ sleuthing. The episode, “Extradition: British Columbia” takes the duo to new places, in this case, Canada. While on a ski vacation Shawn spots Pierre Despereaux a [...]
